The Mr. Level concrete leveling process, sometimes called polyjacking, allows us to return sunken, settled, and uneven concrete back to its original level position without the cost of replacement or pouring new concrete. At its simplest form, we fill any void under your concrete slab with polyurethane foam, which expands and lifts the concrete in place. Below, we’ll walk you through step by step how concrete leveling with polyurethane works.
1. DRILL
Small, dime-sized injection holes (5/8” in diameter) are drilled through the sunken concrete slab at strategic locations.
2. PUMP
A tapered delivery port is installed into the same hole. The injection gun is connected to the port and the injection guns pumps the polyurethane foam through the port and slab. As the polyurethane material is injected, it expands within seconds, compressing loose soil and raising concrete.
3. PATCH
Finally, the holes are patched and smoothed out, leaving the concrete slab looking brand new.
